John Boyd Dunlop founded Dunlop rubber in Britain in 1889 in conjunction with Harvey du Cros. John Dunlop discovered the Pneumatic tyre but the Dunlop name was not used in any part of the business until John Dunlop’s retirement in 1985.
The tyre to look out for from Dunlop is the Sport BluResponse winning the Auto express summer tyre test in 2014 and coming 2nd to the Continental sport contact 5 and beating the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 in 2015.
