Which chassis do I have is question we are asked on a daily basis when customers are looking for wheels to suite there motorhome, so let's find out!
There is 2 different chassis for the Fiat Duacto & Peugeot Boxer both available in Light and Maxi options with the same fitments.
Light Chassis? PCD 5x118 Centre Bore 71.1
Maxi Chassis? PCD 5X130 Centre Bore 78.1
First and most simple question:
Do you have 15" wheels fitted to your Motorhome now? - most common size found on both Peugeot Boxer & Fiat Ducato in 15" is 215/70r15 if this is the case then this is 100% the light chassis = PCD 5X118 with Centre bore 71.1mm.
Yes I have 15" wheels show me the correct wheels:
If you have 16" then it gets a little more tricky, but don't worry we will point you in the right direction.
Fiat Ducato and Peugeot Boxer light chassis can be fitted with 16” wheels and tyres and even use the same size tyre as the Maxi models just to confuse things even more.
So how do we indicate which one we have? Well there is one very simple way of noting which is which, pick one bolt and measure from the centre of this bolt to the centre of the bolt next to it I would expect to see 2 different measurements 71mm & 78mm.
71mm = Lights chassis 5x118
78mm = Maxi Chassis 5x130
16" Light Chassis Alloy wheels.
16" Maxi Chassis Alloy wheels
