What choices do I have when it comes to Motorhome Tyres?
The most popular by fare is the Michelin Agilis Camping tyre but unknown to lots of Motorhome owners there is two major brands who make a Motorhome camping tyre. Michelin and Continental
A couple of years ago there were only three sizes that were mainly used the 215/70r15, 215/75r16 and 225/75r16. Because more and more different chassis are used from main dealers the size range has grown a little.

The main reason that Motorhome’s use these specific tyres.
A motorhome carry’s lots of weight there for this results in higher tyre pressures up to 5-bar or 85-psi, a standard commercial rated van tyre can only be inflated to a maximum of 65-psi so running these at 85-psi would be dangerous and cause irregular tyre ware.
