The Uniroyal Rallye 550 has been developed with a high level of aquaplaning safety. The 2 circumferential grooves ensure that water is displaced quickly. Also the additional tread grooves ensure that water is displaced across the length and width of the tyre.
The Rallye 550 benefits from short breaking distances, especially in wet conditions. A great deal of grip is required to brake in wet conditions and this grip comes from a large number of intricate tread patterns.
Uniroyal have used computer optimized design in order to strategically position the tread patterns. By doing this the Rallye 550 actually counteracts diving noises, resulting in a quiet tyre for greater driving comfort.
