Here at Tyremen we are in a unique position to offer wheel and winter tyre packages. For the ultimate in winter driving safety and convenience we have packages for a wide range of vehicles. We have thousands of winter tyres in stock and we have been importers of quality alloy wheels for many years. We can custom build a package to suit your needs if none of our standard packages fit your requirements. We also stock a large quantity of steel wheels so for the 2011/12 winter season we will have a suitable winter wheel package, whatever your budget.

Select your package from our extensive range

We will fit the tyres to your wheels, balance and pack them

Package is sent to you or your specified fitting centre

Wheels are ready to fit and will be supplied with any new nuts/bolts/rings which may be required

You store your summer wheels until the temperatures are consistently above 7 degrees when you can change them back Investing in a second set of wheels is a great investment for winter driving as in addition to the convenience factor you will also have a wheel that is designed specifically for winter use. Our selection offers either steel wheels or alloys that have a 5 year guarantee on the paint finish. Also many modern vehicles are fitted with large alloys and low profile tyres, although they look great they will not work very well in wintry conditions. In fact a smaller diameter wheel which uses a tyre that is narrower and has a higher profile which work much better.

Can I fit non-standard wheels to my vehicle?

All our recommendations are based on German TUV approved wheel and tyre set ups. The TUV is an organisation which test to see if an aftermarket automotive part is safe for use on a particular vehicle.

What will my insurance company say about this?

Many UK insurers are not especially familiar with the practice; we can provide TUV certificates which show that our packages are suitable. Essentially by fitting a winter wheel package you are making your vehicle safer so they should not have any issues.

Will a smaller wheel fit my vehicle?

We are confident that our suggestions will be suitable, we usually offer a package the same as what the manufacturers fit as standard on the base model of your vehicle. The manufacturer will often even list alternative winter wheel & tyre sizes for winter use in the handbook. If for any reason they don’t fit then we will immediately take the back and look to resolve the issue as best we can.
